Are there any differences between the this version and the preinstalled 5606 on my RCD330?

I assume you managed to extract the software from a headunit and package it into an update?

All 5606 is same sir. We just fixed some bugs on it. And make it light firmware for more faster.. because have some redundant files in firmware.. exmple : normaly all firmware min 210 mb. But this firmware 194mb only .. if you already have 5606 then no need update. Thanks.Best Regards

Nop, it came with the 4 languages directly from the seller. I'll try to take a pic for the HW/SW version ASAP because I've just not access to my car.

Cool, can you confirm exactly which bugs have been fixed when compared to the 'original' 5606 software?

The most obvious issues I have are:
- bluetooth sometimes looses pairing
- volume occasionally drops to 'max startup volume' between tracks
- lack of AF (alternative frequency) support

The bluetooth pairing issue I've ignored as I normally use Android Auto via USB.
The volume issue I've worked around by turning the 'max startup volume' higher than my normal listening volume.
I don't think AF is used in China so I doubt it'll ever be added.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks again!

edit:
One other issue, the EQ sometimes changes when using voice commands on AA. It's like it gets stuck on the voice command EQ and lacks any base. This can normally be fixed by hitting the voice command button twice on the steering wheel. Not clear if this is an issue with AA or the RCD330.
