I’ve got a 2013 Tiguan with a RDS330 aftermarket unit fitted. As the original reverse camera is incompatible, I was wondering if anyone could confirm which rewriting instructions to use. Attached are photos of the new, compatible replacement camera and system details for the new head unit. Thanks in advance for any help!

I will write a good instruction soon. But it is practicaly easy.

Need to connect 12V + / - and RCA (Yellow) ports. Really easy.
Let me decribe for you.. Direction is From radio to camera..

First of all, radio must be coded to have rear view camera. To undertsand this, shift to rear gear, see if blank screen appears..

*Plug blue connector on compatible one on radio's quadlock socket. It will fit to only one hole, the hole under speaker connector.
*You have a cable with yellow connector & red wire on both ends. You have 2 female & 2 male yellow conenctors. Connect them eachother. But put a * on red wire (on both ends) we will use this later.
*Camera has 2 connectors, power & rca (video). Plug power connector to camera, now seperate black & red wires, connect red wire ro red wire on former step (that we put star). Connect Black wire to the outer shining part of joined RCA connectors. Now Camera sime is finished.
*Turn back to radio side, now we need to connect and additional wire to GND pin of radio, and connect other end of cable to shining part of joined RCA connectors. (Here you can find GND & VBAT pins of radio connector: http://download.rcd330plus.com/image/quadlock.jpg )
*Connect the red wire (that we put start on) to the power (VBAT) pin of your Quadlock connector.

Now its done, close boot, and try shifting to rear.
This is important, close boot, if boot open, camera will not function.
