Ordered and fitted the adapter as suggested. Let's see if it rectifies the battery drain. I haven't fitted MFSW yet.

Hello,
Have a Golf Mk5 GTI 2007, and recently bougth a RCD360 Pro. Didn't installed it yet, because besides the common battery draining problem, i have recently been reading awful stuff about this radios. Can you give me some feedback of yours? Does the steering wheel adapter really functions as a solution? Thank you very much for you answer

Hi, I have installed a new can gateway with 7N0xxxx and also a can emulator from the seller in order to use the steering wheel buttons. After 5 -7 I get battery drain. On vcds the Radio has 2 errors: 1- Single Wire Operation ( maybe the can emulator has a problem, but buttons still work ) 2- Missing error from instrument cluster ( old red maxidot , so I think this is ok) I just removed the can emulator and I`m waiting to see if I get another battery drain. Do you have any suggestions ? [To see links please register here] [To see links please register here] [To see links please register here]
