I can't use android auto for more than thirty seconds on my Pixel 3xl without it crashing. It works perfectly with my friend's Galaxy S9.
Things Ive tried:
1. New cable. I've gone through an OEM Pixel 3 cable, an older Anker, an Anker Powerline, and now an insignia from best buy with great Android Auto ratings.
2. Cleaning out my USB port of all lint.
3. Clearing cache and storage of AA.
4. Re-flashing the firmware on my head unit.
5. Removing all stored credentials from the head unit and AA and re-installing AA.
6. Setting AA to only use up to 720p instead of default 1080p, thinking that the head unit's ram was the issue (it's not considering the S9 works perfectly).
7. Praying.
So far no good. I'm tearing my hair out about this not working. I feel like I may be overlooking something very simple. Anyone have any tips?
