Here we provide latest 5522 firmware version for 187B/187E

We tested this firmware on 6RD035187B Noname Radio.

We tested this firmware on 6RF035187C-E Visteon Radios.


-Android Auto works very well.

-Apple CarPlay works very well.

-Mirrorlink works very well.

-FM Radio / Media / Phone functions works very well.

-Old version has some App-Connect bug was fixed.

-Old version has some bluetooth pairing issues, this bug was fixed.



THIS FIRMWARE UPDATE WAS MADE BY VISTEON.

AS EVERYONE KNOW, EVERY UPDATE FIXES SOME BUGS.

BUT WE DO NOT HAVE EXACT CHANGELOG..

SO ANYONE DO NOT HAVE TO BUY THIS FIRMWARE..



ANDROID AUTO VOICE CALL ECHO EXPLANATION:

-We need to clarify that Android Auto uses Bluetooth-Audio as source while Apple Carplay does not need Bluetooth connection.

-If you play music over Android Auto, it transmit sound via Bluetooth while Apple Carplay transmits any data via cable connection.

-This is a bug of Android Auto System itself, when you make voice call over Android Auto, system uses both mics of cell phone and Radio.

-This echo problem occurs on all VW Radios, we tried on Composition Media (Passat B8), Composition Media (Passat B8 USA) and RCD330.

-So please take a look at possible solution for Android Auto Echo problem.
