In the process of heat treatment, if the steel is heated to a certain point above the critical temperature and then cooled suddenly, the hardness and strength of the steel can be improved; if the steel is heated to a certain point below the critical temperature and cooled slowly, the hardness of the steel can be reduced and the toughness can be improved.

Hoping for a little bit of help with my RCD330 plus. I just purchased what I belive to be a 187B noname from eBay. I have a couple problems, I feel the head unit has a bit of a mind of its own. It first off all doesn’t turn on with the ignition, needs to be manually turned on and then the Bluetooth says that the ignition needs to be on for it to be activated which it already is, it says this for 3-5 minutes before it eventually turns the Bluetooth on. It also decides when it wants to turn off with the ignition, usually when the Bluetooth is activated it will turn off with the ignition but if the Bluetooth hasn’t activated yet it won’t turn off with the ignition. Also the lights powering the buttons such as “media” tend to stay on when my car is turned off.
I have a 2013 (63 plate) Volkswagen polo which originally had an RCD310

After installing my RCD330 in a VW transporter 5.1 with an external 4 channel amplifier trough a hi low converter. Now I need to bring the output down to line level with VCDS. This is where the trouble starts.
After coding the Hu to “Skoda soundsystem” it accepts the coding and the sound noticeably changes to line level. Then to save the coding I have to hold the volume button for some time so the hu reboots. After this step there is no more sound from the radio or e.g. spotify . Only sound that is being send from the radio now is the touchscreen beep sound and when using apps like maps you can hear the voice really loud trough the rear left speaker, apart form that no sound. To fix this you have to revert coding to “no sound system”. After reboot there is sound again, but this way the hu sends an amplified sound to my amplifier. The radio only works on skoda sound system directly after coding it so, when you reset or reboot it, the sound is pretty much gone. Hope someone can help me out, cause i would like to keep the rcd 330 but it really needs to work with my amp properly!
