I was wondering if this fits in my polo 6c. It says its for mqb cars, and i know the rcd330 that is special made for mqb fits with different panel. But was thinking about buying this if it fits
I've recently purchased a AutoSky Wireless Pro Edition. Everything works great except for phone calls on CarPlay. The phone rings but when the call connects the sounds and mic go silent. Stereo is a 187F and I've updated it to the latest firmware 5614. I've factory reset the settings on the stereo and connected it all 10 times over. I've tried everything that I can think of and not sure what to try next. Has anyone else has the same issue with this adaptor or similar USB wireless CarPlay adaptors and how did you fix it?
Hello, I am owner of a 2013 Polo 6R.
I am writing to inquire about the differences between the NONAME RCD 330 PLUS models:
6RF 035 187B [HW 541]
6RF 035 187E [HW 565]
6RF 035 187F [HW 566]
6RF 035 187G [HW 689]
(HW versione: I found this information about these models by searching online)
Can you please tell me what the differences are between these models and which one is the best and why?
Thank you in advance for your help, and best regards.
Hi everyone. Recently I just brought a basic version of RCD330G (6RF 035 187), the one with only mirror link and without android auto or apple car play.
I attempted to install into my MK5 GTI 2009, it turned out asking for Anti Theft Code, which will lock the system every there's only 2 attempts of incorrect input.
Based on what I understand most of the RCD330s no need to have go through Anti Theft Code, but this one does.
The unit:
- 6RF 035 187 (The one with only mirror link and CD)
- Made in Hungary
- Brought 2nd handed from a seller
- Based on seller, this unit is originally from 2017 Jetta
I install it along with the MFSW simulation CANBUS adapter for my old 8 buttons steering wheels.
Can anyone guide me where can I get the code for the unit? Is it somewhere on the unit? Thanks.
Hey guys,
I had problems with Carplay disconnecting and I suspect it could be bad USB port.
I had an idea to order new ports from Aliexpress and also try to DIY usb-c port on it (so that I can use genuine Apple USB-C Lightning cable).
I ended up ordering this USBs https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004696562222.html (type 3, 4 bent pins) with pins corresponding to the ones on the radio. I unsoldered the original port and soldered this USB-C and it happens to fit and work just fine. Now I have to test it on the long term use, the problem might not have been in USB. So far I can tell it works at the least same as with original USB-A port. I also made inlay for original hole for better esthetics.
Hello. I have a Desay rcd330 from my old Tiguan. I traded for a new Tiguan but kept the RCD330 which i love. I want to use it in my boat which of course does not have canbus. I have bench tested it and discovered some functions don't work, I assume because I'm not powering through the canbus. What will I need to wire it in and still have Bluetooth connection, illuminated buttons, power without battery drain etc. Thank you.
Hi, friends, can you help me?
I have original harman 035 187 head unit in my polo.
I installed the amplifier through the converter - everything works, but VCDS show errors in block 56 - open circuit on 4 speakers.
The input impedance of the converter is about 1 kOhm, the head unit does not see the speakers (original speakers is 8 Ohm).
And with this erors, the standard fader does not work - it cant store parameters..
Coding HU with VCDS doesn't help..
The original coding of block 56 was 00 00 04 00 00 00 10, changed to 00 00 04 00 01 00 01
Nothing has changed, byte 4 seem to be responsible for controlling only the tweeters..
Byte 0, 1, 2, 3, 5 - does not accept changes,
Byte 2 (active speakers) - does not accept changes, i can put only two or four speakers.
Is there some kind of programming sequence maybe?
Then I thought to disable the speaker resistance check in hardware, but there is a TDA7564B amp, it has a built-in check and it gives i2c statuses, I can’t turn it off by raising pins of ic or vice versa ..
Then I thought just to put resistors (about 40-50 Ohms) on the outputs of the radio in front of the converter, but it has 20 W per channel, they will warm up there decently... But I'm not sure here...
Anybody who put the amplifier on this head unit, how did you solve this problem?
I can't get my RCD330 to output sound when coded for dynaudio. The model is 6RF 035 187F.
My car is a 2010 Passat CC with the 10 speaker dynaudio system with an RNS510 originally (no bluetooth module installed).
My car did come with touch phone kit but it hasn't worked since I got the car a few months ago and from what I've seen digging through VCDS there doesn't seem to be anything to change coding wise for that.
I've coded skoda sound system, active speakers and no treble monitoring and there's no sound.
I've removed navigation and media player from my CAN Gateway, disconnected the battery for a while, disconnected the amp for a while and nothing, still no sound.
I have tried the included firmware on the unit (Y520 if I remember correctly), 5532 and 5518 and it has made no difference.
I read somewhere (I can't remember where now) that there are issues with the 10 channel dynaudio systems and I also saw a couple of guys on red dit also with CCs that have the same problem as me, but no solutions so far.
For reference, my amp is the Lear AMP600 3C8035456C.
Has anyone else had this issue and managed to get it resolved somehow?
Thanks for any help!
edit: forgot to add that when I have the unit coded for no sound system, I get the usual overloud and bad sounding audio that others are reporting.
